Stunning 11" sgraffito vase with powder blue sponge glaze and art nouveau floral decoration by Josef Ekberg for Gustavsberg, dated 1917. Ekberg joined Gustavsberg in 1889 and worked there until his death in 1945. In excellent condtion.

Magnificent 10.3" vase by Hungarian studio potter, Livia Gorka, circa 1950s. Gorka was born in Hungary in 1925. Her father was master potter Geza Gorka. The source of her art is nature. She creates large asymetrical vessels decorated in birds and fish. She is a member of the Association of Hungarian Artists. The vase is in excellent condition.
